OPEN HAND THEATER
Open Hand Theater is a community that creates dynamic educational programs and performances for all ages to promote personal and artistic growth and build a welcoming community for all. Their website is an essential way for them to share their events and programs with their clients. Open hand theater website is hard to interact with it. As a class project, we tried to organize information on the website and redesign all parts of that.
To redesign the web page and make it more user-friendly and categorizing the information in the nav bar.
OPEN HAND THEATER WEBSITE
Timeline: 3 weeks
Team: Niloo Alavi, Forough Jafari
My Roles: Lead UI & Visual Designer, Web developer, Web Architect.
Tools: Sketch, Photoshop, HTML 5, CSS, Pen, and Paper.
In the initial step, we analyzed the open hand theater website pages and wrote down difficulties that we had during using the website and prepared a flow-chart to help us to redesign the website.
In our opinion, the messiest part that makes users feel lost is the navbar. We organized the navbar and added/deleted some categories to that to make the navbar more user-friendly.

After deciding about the nav-bar, we designed some wireframes of the home page of the open hand theater and a secondary page to help us when we want to develop and code the pages with HTML and CSS.
