“Good design is like a refrigerator—when it works, no one notices, but when it doesn’t, it sure stinks.”
     –Irene Au

I am currently looking for Full-time opportunities as a User Experience designer.

My diverse background with professional experience in Industrial Design and current studies in the Human-Computer Interaction program at the University of Maryland allows me to combine skills from multiple fields.

I believe in design as a distinct way of noticing the tiny (but valuable) moments. Projects involving "Problem-Solution" context excite me and I take great pride in my adaptability towards multi-disciplinary projects and my ability to simplify complex information and constantly learning and unlearning sets me apart as a designer.

I have a passion for being a designer. I love to have curious eyes as a designer to observe people's life and find a gap or difficulty to solve with creative ideas. The skills and processes that I have acquired through education and work experience allow me to focus my natural talent as a designer into tangible, creative, lean solutions to any obstacle encountered. My ability to adapt to a situation is beyond reproach; I understand the ever-changing dynamic of human-product interaction matches my knowledge of UX/UI design, and I take pride in my capacity to alter my process to find the best possible solution.

I chose to be a UX designer because I had become frustrated by how people were often prisoners to poorly designed products that made their lives more difficult. My goal is to design products and experiences that are meaningful and impactful, and I’m especially interested in utilizing new technologies to improve people’s lives in innovative ways.
